OK so my friend and I were walking to school and this kid over bye the lake shouted, "hey look at the dead cat over here!!" My friend and I knew that he was just messing with us but when we walked over to take a look, there lay a floating, dead cat with the ice frozen around it just sitting there in the lake. And yes the lake was frozen.
So we both just stared. "The owner must not know about this. It has been here for a couple days now." The kid was saying. I just kept on staring at the poor cat! It didn't even look full grown! It must of only been a couple years old is what I guessed. My friend and I walked off not hoping to see the poor cat ever again.
Just thinking about it wants to make me cry. As the days passed, the cat was still there. And when the ice melted, the poor dead cat sank. Its still there right now I bet. I will finish the story when I get more information. My friend also said that she saw the owners of the cat a day later. They did not look happy. But that's another story. Later!!!
